Our Story

We met as a blind date set up by Courtney's brother-in-law, not knowing what we were getting ourselves into. Our first date was at Courtney's parents house for a movie night in the garage! There were a bunch of people watching a projection onto the wall. It was definitely awkward to say the least but, we ended up on a second date! This time it was to Jeff's friends house for a July 4th celebration. We didn't stay long but ended up getting Asian for dinner and spent several hours talking about our lives. We clicked almost immediately! 6 years later, we were in Austin, TX for Courtney's job. Jeff planned a weekend getaway to San Antonio because it wasn't too far away. The day we arrived we went to a beautiful Sunken Garden, which was a Japanese Garden in an old rock quarry. We walked around seeing tons of teenagers taking pictures for prom and even saw someone get engaged! Then Jeff took Courtney's hand and led her to one of the only secluded gazebos and got down on one knee! His words were so sweet, and then he popped the question! Courtney said yes! Funny story, there were several strangers videoing and taking pictures who came up afterwards to congratulate us and ask for Jeff's number to send the images/videos but through all the excitement, the phone number was misheard! Even though we don't have pictures and videos, that beautiful momemt still lives on in our memories.
